Lindsey Connell has had many years experience treating both musculo-skeletal and neuromuscular conditions in people and commenced treating animals in 1999. She completed her post graduate Masters in Animal Studies (Animal Physiotherapy) at the University of Queensland in 2004.
Since the completion of her Masters, she has been involved in teaching the animal physiotherapy component of the Masters in Animal Studies (Animal Physiotherapy) Course and has also presented at several Veterinary, Veterinary Nurse and Physiotherapy conferences.
Lindsey runs an established small animal practice both in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, consulting from Veterinary Specialist Services Clinics in Underwood and Carrara.
Working at Veterinary Specialist Services has given Lindsey a wealth of knowledge and experience treating many different conditions from the acute trauma cases to the more unusual neurological conditions such as acute idiopathic polyradiculoneuritis and spinal dysfunction due to Fibrocartilaginous emboli.
Veterinary Specialist Services proudly supports the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, particularly the treatment, care and research of the Australian Koala Community.
