DR BEN HOOPER

Ben is from a large Greek family, many of which are in Townsville where he lived and graduated (JCU Townsville 2018). He started work in Townsville in 2019 as a general practice vet, working in a clinic and as a mobile veterinarian. He moved to Brisbane to begin working at AES right before COVID (Feb 2020), where, like the rest of the veterinary world, he consistently dealt with heavy caseloads. In 2022, he started working as an ICU veterinarian and worked between both AES and Pet ICU. 

His hobbies mostly include target archery, being a couch potato and spending time with his two cats - Lil'cato and Momo. His main career interests are emergency & critical care medicine, and all forms of diagnostic imaging.
