Angie grew up in Melbourne, and obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine with Honours in 2008. She worked first in small animal practice in Melbourne and then the UK, also participating in veterinary volunteer programs overseas while travelling. She returned to Australia to undertake an emergency internship in Brisbane in 2014, and since then has been working solely in emergency and referral hospitals. She obtained ANZCVS Membership in Emergency and Critical Care in 2017.
Angie loves all aspects of emergency medicine, especially enjoying the variety of caseload and problem solving required. She has worked many years at CARE in Melbourne, and then was the ICU Veterinarian at Southpaws Specialty Hospital in Melbourne for two years.
Angie moved to the Gold Coast in 2021 with her naughty border terrier Diggity for a change of scenery, and to pursue her love of surfing and diving. Angie also enjoys learning languages, salsa dancing, and seeing live music.
Angie works between our Underwood and Carrara VSS hospitals.
