Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated fulltime Cardiology Nurse at Underwood, responsible for ensuring efficient animal admittances and discharges, preparation for specific procedures, monitoring patient vitals, and post-op care. The role demands maintaining high standards of hygiene and a compassionate approach to patient care. Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining cardiology equipment, performing in-house laboratory tests, and upholding our pain management protocols.

About our new Cardiology Nurse
Our ideal Cardiology Nurse is a passionate individual with a strong foundation in veterinary nursing and a special interest in cardiology. This role calls for excellent animal handling skills and a commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care. A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is required, along with experience in general practice nursing. Proficiency in Ezyvet is a plus. We are looking for someone who is well-organised, adept at time management, and ready to support our team of nurses, receptionists, and veterinarians.
